{"id":50175,"date":"2013-01-01T08:26:42","date_gmt":"2013-01-01T07:26:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/venues4funerals.com\/directory\/?page_id=50175"},"modified":"2013-01-01T08:26:42","modified_gmt":"2013-01-01T07:26:42","slug":"reporting-a-death-to-the-coroner","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/venues4funerals.com\/directory\/reporting-a-death-to-the-coroner\/","title":{"rendered":"Reporting a Death to the Coroner"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In any of the following circumstances the doctor may report the death to the coroner:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>an accident or injury<\/li>\n<li>an industrial disease<\/li>\n<li>during a surgical operation<\/li>\n<li>before recovery from an anaesthetic<\/li>\n<li>if the cause of death is unknown<\/li>\n<li>the death was sudden and unexplained, for instance, a sudden infant death (cot death).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The coroner may be the only person who can certify the cause of death.
