{"id":50261,"date":"2013-01-01T11:22:56","date_gmt":"2013-01-01T10:22:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/venues4funerals.com\/directory\/?page_id=50261"},"modified":"2013-01-01T11:22:56","modified_gmt":"2013-01-01T10:22:56","slug":"people-to-tell","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/venues4funerals.com\/directory\/people-to-tell\/","title":{"rendered":"People to tell"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After someone dies you should tell:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The local social services department of the council if the person was getting meals on wheels, home help or day-centre care or had an appliance or piece of equipment issued by the department;<\/li>\n<li>Any hospital the person was attending;<\/li>\n<li>The family doctor to cancel any home nursing;<\/li>\n<li>HM Revenue and Customs;<\/li>\n<li>The Jobcentre Plus or social security office if benefit was being paid directly into the deceased\u2019s bank or building society account, for example State Pension, Attendance Allowance, Child Benefit;<\/li>\n<li>Any employer and trade union;<\/li>\n<li>The school or college that the deceased attended;<\/li>\n<li>A car insurance company (if you are insured to drive the car under the deceased\u2019s name, you may cease to be legally insured);<\/li>\n<li>The deceased\u2019s gas, electricity and telephone suppliers;<\/li>\n<li>The local council housing department if the person who has died was living in a council house;<\/li>\n<li>The local council Housing Benefit\/Council Tax Benefit section if the person who has died was getting Housing Benefit and\/or Council Tax Benefit;<\/li>\n<li>The deceased\u2019s bank, building society, insurance company, etc;
