Located just a short walk from the Loughborough crematorium Charnwood Regency is the ideal venue to share time with family and friends and remember the life of a loved one.

Funerals are one of the most difficult times of our lives and the team at the Charnwood Regency aim to ease the burden and stress of organising the wake. Our friendly and experienced staff are well known for their high standards of service and we like to ensure that your family and friends can celebrate the life of a loved one by making sure everything runs as smoothly as possible on the day. We are proud of our multi-lingual team, which boasts of English, Portuguese, Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi speaking individuals. Thus we can host and carer for funerals from different religious and cultural backgrounds.

From the moment of your enquiry to your guest’s departure, we ensure that our dedicated team provides a service with a ‘personal touch’, which makes us unique from the rest. Upon arrival of your guests a member of staff who will greet them at the main reception and guide them to where they need to go. A staff member is always at the bar and there is a second person serving the first round of teas and coffees. Once served we ‘slip away’ to let you celebrate your loved one’s life and your guests can help themselves to further tea and coffee should they wish.

We have a fully licensed bar and all food is prepared in house, sourced from local produce by our highly qualified chef. We have three buffet menus for you to choose from and all have been designed to offer traditional and modern food. However, we appreciate that you may wish to alter the menu to reflect the choices of a loved one or for the needs of your guests. We are happy to discuss alternative requirements to tailor a menu that best fits you. We can also offer alternative cuisine.

Our venue seats up to 50 people across the bar, lounge and dining area; however, we can comfortably have up to 80 guests with a combination of people standing/sitting. We have catered for larger bookings up to 100, but we do request that the venue is viewed prior to booking. Our bar and lounge area has a warm cosy feel, whereas the dining room has a conservatory style roof, which brightens the space. Free car parking is also available at the front and rear for up to 30 cars and we also have disabled access facilities. We also have rooms available at the guesthouse to accommodate any of your guests for an overnight stay.

Many of our guests choose to personalise the venue by bringing in photographs of a loved one, displaying their favourite flowers, having a photo slide show or playing their favourite music. Whatever you would like we are happy to accommodate.
