Here at Workington Golf Club, we offer an ideal venue for families and friends to pay their respects and celebrate the life of loved ones.

Situated on the outskirts of Workington, the golf club facilities are just two miles from most of the town centre churches. But also, very conveniently located only one and a half miles from the Crematorium at Distington.

The recently refurbished clubhouse is elegant, comfortable, and modern offering a panorama across the golf course and distant fells. Both our Lounge and Dining room are available singularly or combined to facilitate funeral wakes and memorials from 20 to 120.

Our own service providers offer a variety of bespoke catering options that are designed to match your own families’ personal requests. Whether that be a hot or cold buffet, afternoon tea, lunch, or simply sandwiches & chips. The friendly, respectful, and hospitable front of house team will offer a warm welcome and a full service of hot beverages and cold drinks from the spacious bar area.

Externally Workington Golf Club offers free onsite car parking for up to 80 vehicles alleviating all those town centre parking dilemmas.
