The new crematorium building has a chapel that can accommodate 140 people, along with spaces for congregation, cremation, administration, staff, and memorial services. Thanks to the asymmetrical layout and catafalque, the chapel creates a sense of intimacy regardless of the number of people attending a service, and also benefits from a “Protected View” that allows natural light, complete privacy and overlooks the surrounding landscape. There is a separate pavilion with memorial facilities in the building.

Extensive landscaping, such as car parks, memorial gardens, woodland areas, and meadows with mown grass paths, and the Porte cochere offering a covered entrance to the chapel, are also part of the development.

A lot of thought has been put into creating an atmosphere of calm and tranquillity by using the surrounding environment and architectural elements. Our focus was also to ensure there was clear circulation for visitors to move around easily, avoiding mourners at ongoing funeral services.
