The crematorium in Kettering opened on the 24th of April 1940 with the first cremation taking place on the 7th May of the same year. Since then we have carried out over 100,000 cremations. We have extensive grounds on the site along with two chapels for services to be held.

Albert Munn Chapel
The smaller Albert Munn Chapel – Seating 65 people plus room for standing. Service times start at 9:15 am through to 3:00 pm with a 45 minute slot allocated for each booking, with the actual service lasting approx 30 mins.
Edgar Newman Chapel
The larger Edgar Newman Chapel – Seating 135 people plus room for standing in the foyer. Service times start at 9:00 am through to 3:45 pm with a 45 minute slot allocated for each booking, with the actual service lasting approx 30 mins.

Our grounds are maintained to a high standard by our grounds maintenance team giving a peaceful and tranquil environment for the benefit of everyone.

Parking is available on site, with 124 spaces including 8 disabled spaces.
