The White Horse Inn Barton is the ideal venue for funeral buffets and teas near the Cambridge crematorium.

We offer our cosy restaurant area and beautifully planted private patio for wakes. These areas can hold up to 50 people. There is a large inglenook fireplace which adds to the cosiness in winter.

The White Horse has a large car park and some of our clients leave their cars here to travel to the funeral in the cortege.

There is a large garden to the front of the pub with Thai wooden seating shelters. Some of our clients like this area on a nice day but it is not private.

Our chefs prepare our buffet sandwiches shortly before the arrival time and cook a selection of hot Thai snacks on arrival. These can be most things off our starter menu but homemade chicken satay with Noi’s peanut sauce and vegetable spring rolls with sweet chilli sauce are included in our standard buffet. Chips are also included.

The bar has a good choice of wines, spirits, and soft drinks. We usually have draught cider, two lagers, two real ales and Guinness.

The White Horse has two outside ensuite chalet rooms each with a king sized bed for those that need to stay. These need to be booked in advance via our web site and are subject to availability.
