The Bardswell Club located in central Brentwood has provided meeting space and entertainment facilities for the community since 1928. It is in Brentwood town centre which is only a 5 minute drive from Bentley Crematorium. We are a 5 minute walk from Brentwood Station and are close to the major bus routes into the town and just a 5 minute drive from the main M25/A12 road junction.

The club has over 90 years’ experience of hosting events, and we welcome all types of functions. There is a large car park at the club and we are able to cater for up to 160 guests per event. There is a large garden and terrace for enjoying a drink al fresco, and garden toys to entertain the children.

For those very sad occasions, we are able to sympathetically accommodate your funeral party and we always provide a respectful and professional service. Our large hall can provide the perfect space in which your loved ones can be remembered by friends and family. We offer a fully stocked bar with competitively priced drinks and we are able to offer a flexible space for your gathering. We can offer tea and coffee on arrival for your guests and also provide a selection of buffet food or afternoon tea. Hire of the hall can be for just a few hours during the day to an entire evening.

We have facilities to display photos or a projector screen to show a rolling slideshow if preferred. There is also a microphone and professional sound system should you need to use those.
