The Gamlingay Eco Hub is a Community Hub which offers the perfect place for family and friends to come together to share memories and mark the passing of a loved one.

The Hub is a modern light filled building with 4 differently sized rooms for hire to host gatherings of between 20 and 200 people and staff on hand to help host your reception with sensitivity and kindness during this difficult time.

The Hub is situated in the pretty village of Gamlingay and is surrounded by recreation space and fields for a peaceful outlook and views of open countryside. It is equal distance between Cambridge and Bedford crematoriums and within walking distance of two local churches.

The building is all on one level with full disabled access for those less mobile and we have our own car park for up to 35 cars. We are eco friendly because the building runs on renewable technology, and we have an active recycling and single use plastics policy within the building.

We understand that planning a funeral reception is usually at short notice and we are very flexible with finding space for last minute bookings. We are not tied to any suppliers and we don’t cater in-house so you are free to bring in your own caterers or provide your own food and drink, or we can help you book local people if you don’t have anyone to hand.

We can provide staff to serve and set up and clear up, and we have free WiFi and presentation equipment available for use if you want to play a DVD, project photographs or ask people to speak a few words. We have a fully equipped kitchen for serving guests and an alcohol and music licence if you wish to run a bar and play recorded music.

We will offer any help you need, or leave it completely to you to arrange the details, and you are free to decorate the Hub as you wish for your event. We are on hand, and happy to answer any questions you have and to help you through what can be a difficult occasion.
