The Woodville is centrally located, with close proximity to a number of Gravesend’s places of worship and the new Thamesview Crematorium.

The Woodville provides a sensitive setting for wakes and funeral receptions of all sizes. Our dedicated staff will be available to ensure your event goes smoothly from the moment of booking to the time you leave. Whether you want us to just provide a room, room and bar, or room, bar and catering, we are here to offer you what you need to celebrate the life of your loved one.

Our Kent room can provide you with the perfect setting, suitable for up to 60 people, with a full bar service and funeral reception catering. The room can be set up with large round tables, seating 10 people, or with smaller more intimate tables and chairs, you let us know what you need, and we will do our best to provide it. We also have a screen and speakers should you wish to use them to display a video or pictures.

For larger wakes, the main auditorium is recommended. We can accommodate up to 300 guests. We will provide you with round tables seating up to 10 people on each. We have a fully functional kitchen which can provide cooked meals or finger buffet with teas and coffees. You let us know what you want and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Access to the building is from road level so easily accessible for any wheelchair users or those unsteady on their feet. We also have lifts to all areas. Parking is available at Parrock Street Car Park. DA12 1ER just a few minutes’ walk from the venue.
