Scotland  –  April 26 – Bars, cafes, shops and more

From this date we are to see the return of cafés, restaurants and bars who will be able to serve people outdoors – in groups of up to six from three households – until 10pm

Alcohol will be permitted (outdoor only) and there will be no requirement for food to be served..

Indoor hospitality will only be allowed for the service of food and non-alcoholic drinks until 8pm for groups of up to four people from no more than two households.

Non-essential shops are allowed to open on the 26th.

Restrictions on journeys within mainland Scotland will be lifted entirely, bringing staycations back on the cards. All libraries, museums and galleries are to be allowed to re-open.

Indoor gyms will also reopen for individual exercise from this date.

People will be allowed to work in homes when required and driving lessons can return.

From this date, 50 people will be allowed to attend weddings, funerals and associated receptions.
