We are a traditional pie and mash shop first established in 1862 in East London by Robert Cooke. We continue to serve the same traditional recipe that has been passed down from generation to generation, now under 5th generation Robert Cooke.

All our food is made fresh from scratch every day, by hand using the finest produce. We offer traditional buffets and afternoon teas and can create menus to suit your own individual tastes. We also have a fully licensed bar.

We have a stunning spacious venue on Moulsham St, Chelmsford that is used for private hire, with or without our pie and mash.
