Situated in Newton Solney, the Mercure Burton Upon Trent Hotel is a grade II listed, 18th century peaceful retreat where you can gather your with friends and family to remember and celebrate the life of a loved one.

We understand that there is no harder time that when a loved one passes away. Our experienced staff will be on hand to take care of everything and a dedicated Mercure co-ordinator will be glad to help you with every aspect of planning the day.

We have 5 beautiful function rooms in total covering a small family gathering for just a few people to a large event for 150, and parking for 120 cars.

We can offer a range of menu options for your reception and are happy to adapt them to suit your requirements. From morning and afternoon tea to finger buffets and sit-down meals, simply tell us what you’d like and we’ll make it happen. We can also offer a range of drinks packages to suit your budget.

Accommodation is available for guest who may need to travel. All of our rooms feature a flat screen TV and complimentary WiFI. A delicious traditional breakfast can also be pre-booked for your convenience. Alternatively you can upgrade to a privilege room for just £30 per room and enjoy a Nespresso machine, robe, slippers and a newspaper.
